Well, I recently wrapped up another project: www.enriquevgarcia.com! It was quite an interesting project in regards to genealogy and the software, Brother’s Keeper.
Problem
The end user was in need of a website that would allow him to update the following: personal interests, family history via Brother’s Keeper geneaology software, and general information about events as they happen.
Solution
Since the user had purchased hosting via Bluehost.com, we chose to spec this project and meet his needs utilizing WordPress. He wanted a simple site and not much design in regards to the “look and feel”. That said, we chose to utilize Patrick Chia’s Ester theme and modified it somewhat in regards to personalizing the picture frame. There are close to 10 different pictures that randomly appear on a page load or refresh. Overall, this functionality project was a quick-turn project.
